由于新冠病毒流行，尼加拉瓜连续第二年取消雪茄节活动。这个活动旨在庆祝尼加拉瓜的雪茄文化，包含实地考察烟叶农场、参观雪茄工厂以及和尼加拉瓜的一些最大的雪茄制造商面对面交流的一些活动。

尼加拉瓜烟草商会会长克劳迪奥·斯格罗伊表示，我们非常怀念以前每年前来参加雪茄节活动的那些嘉宾和客人，希望和他们可以直接交流和接触，但是目前这个形势下，合作商和游客的健康是我们更应该重视的。

在以往，雪茄节的活动都是从首都马那瓜开始，一直延续到尼加拉瓜烟叶的主要种植地和雪茄制造业的中心埃斯特利。

For the second year in a row, the Nicaraguan cigar festival has been canceled due to pandemic precautions. Officially known as Puro Sabor, the festival is a celebration of Nicaraguan cigar culture that includes field trips to tobacco farms, tours of cigar factories and face time with the biggest producers of Nicaragua’s cigars. 

“We certainly miss the direct contact with the premium Nicaraguan tobacco lovers who used to visit us every year, but we decided that the health of our collaborators and visitors is more important,” said Claudio Sgroi, president of the Nicaraguan Chamber of Tobacco. 

Traditionally, the festival starts in the capital city of Managua and continues to Estelí, the center of Nicaragua’s tobacco-growing and cigarmaking industry.
