The corona that PDR Cigars brand owner Abe Flores used to make only for personal consumption on his birthday is now offered to all smokers. It’s now the thinnest size in the El Trovador line and started shipping last week on September 12—Flores’ birthday.

“This is a vitola I only made for myself and it’s my favorite size in the El Trovador brand,” Flores says. “As I traveled, people always asked what I was smoking and where they could purchase that vitola.”

弗洛雷斯说，这款是我为自己卷制的型号，也是整个产品线里我最喜欢的一款。当我外出旅行时，别人总是问我抽的是什么雪茄，在哪里可以买到这个尺寸。

At 5 inches by 44 ring gauge, the El Trovador Corona comes in both the Rosado and Maduro lines. Both have Nicaraguan binders and fillers, but they have different wrappers. The Rosado consists of an Ecuadoran wrapper while the Maduro is wrapped in a dark leaf of Mexican San Andrés. They are produced in the Dominican Republic at the PDR Cigars factory.

The El Trovador Corona retails for $6.89 per cigar and comes in boxes of 24. It’s in regular production and now officially part of the El Trovador portfolio, which is currently up to five sizes.
